We joined future St William's residents (known as home partners) at one of their regular team-building days at the start of June.

During these days, home partners work with contractors towards their 500-hour sweat equity target, which will be used to reduce their deposit by £10,000.

Team building days offer home partners the chance to meet, build relationships and socialise with their neighbours before the properties are even finished.

Prima Group and Housing People, Building Communities are delighted to have won Best Affordable Housing Development (Up to £10M) at the Northern Housing Awards last week for our work on the St William's development in Wigan.

Prima Group and Housing People Building Communities (HPBC) are working in collaboration to deliver 27 new, affordable homes at the former St William’s RC Church in Ince, Wigan.

The homes are being created using the HPBC Sweat Equity model, which enables the future purchasers, known as Home Partners, to make up to £10,000 contribution to the cost of their new home through working on site for up to 500 hours.
